How can we create loving, nurturing, mutually supportive relationships in which we help each other thrive and grow to become our best selves?

In moments of frustration, have you ever thought to yourself that your relationship would improve, and happiness would follow, if only your partner would change?

Our Gift of Relationship Weekend is designed to share concepts, offer experiences, and ignite new insights about how to move your relationship to a new level, building a shared vision and unified purpose of what you want this relationship to be, and what role you wish to play in it.

Gift Of Relationship 1

Course Content

At the core of all relationships is our relationship with ourselves.

Relationship with Self

The first part of the program will expand your awareness of what is important to you - your values, priorities, and your own sense of purpose and vision for yourself. You will become more aware of your inner world that drives your relationships - your values, beliefs and needs.

Relationship with Others

The second part of the program brings this awareness into the relationship as “We” - who you are as a third entity - your relationship together. What are your shared values, your shared priorities, and your larger vision together?

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Listen deeply and appreciate from a new perspective your partner’s values, needs and hopes.
  • Learn how to “re-frame” relationship “triggers” and use them to transform your relationship.
  • Understand what it means when you live your values fully.
  • Connect and align with your deepest sense of Purpose.
  • Build a shared vision of who you wish to be in a relationship.

Through many years of work in the transformation, space is the importance of “buddy” support during and after the program. Our intention with this course is that you will meet like-minded people with whom you can connect after the program - supporting each other on the forward journey.

All profits from this program (estimate 80% of ticket price) will be donated to the Hawaiian Ride for Youth.

About Hawaiian Ride for Youth and Youth Focus

The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is held annually in March across 4.5 days with riders covering over 700kms on their way from Albany to Perth to raise funds and awareness for Youth Focus. While cycling through towns in WA’s South West, Great Southern and Wheatbelt the riders visit high schools to engage with students on issues of youth suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm.

The purpose of the Hawaiian Ride for Youth is to raise funds to support Youth Focus’ youth mental health services.

Youth Focus is a leading mental health provider that has been supporting the mental wellbeing of young people in the Western Australian community since 1994.

Youth Focus exists because almost every week one child, sibling, relative or friend under the age of 25 dies by suicide. The ripple effect of suicide and feelings of loss, sadness, and loneliness are felt deeply by individuals, families and entire communities.

The organisation’s mission is to equip young people who experience mental health challenges to lead meaningful lives and reduce symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, self-harm and thoughts of suicide. It does this through the delivery of free and accessible professional counselling services to thousands of young people and their families each year.

About Us

Lisa and Malcolm met in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1987 and married in Chicago, USA in 1990. Since 2004 they have worked together as business partners in their culture and leadership consulting business, Corporate Evolution Pty Ltd. They work with large organisations around the world to inspire and challenge leaders to expand their consciousness to create better cultures and transform society.

Lisa and Malcolm’s introduction to this work started on a Relationship Weekend program like this in 2000, which changed their lives, their marriage, and brought a new level of happiness and fulfilment to their family. Lisa and Malcolm are (as you’ll discover) very different people, however through this work they have learned the skills to work through their differences in the ups and downs of marriage, and always remain committed to learning and growing with each other.
