Renier is a leadership consultant and coach with an international background of over 25 years in the mining industry as an engineering professional. As a leader, Renier has developed and led high-performing teams in maintenance, engineering, and major projects.

Renier’s journey in leadership and culture transformation began in 2004 when AngloCoal in South Africa engaged McKinsey & Co. to lead and facilitate organisation-wide culture transformation. As a leader at the time, Renier participated in McKinsey facilitated transformation workshops and immediately felt called to this Work.

During the last 17 years, Renier has applied these transformation tools and skills in his own leadership and has role modelled adaptive and servant leadership. Driven by his purpose, he obtained accreditation in Corporate Evolution’s Facilitator of Transformation through Values program in 2018.

Renier facilitates transformation with vulnerability, authenticity, courage, and compassion, holding space for leaders and teams to step through their fears into the power of their purpose and values, emerging their highest potential.
